xp boot camp help

When I install windows xp pro. through boot camp (macbook) it already used 24 gb space (40gb partitioned). Does anyone here encounter and solved this kind of problem? Thanks...

Mac Mini i5 (2014 High Sierra), iPhone X, Apple Watch, iPad Pro 12.9, AppleTV (4)
Is that just a clean XP install? Should be somewhere around 3gb max

What are you using to determine the space used?
