problems burning cds

i've been having problems burning discs..everytime i do it says"burning failed because of a disc failure" i've tried different discs. can someone please help!!

I used to have a problem burning to a certain brand of dvd. Sometimes it worked if I burned at the slowest speed.

If that doesn't work I suggest getting a different brand of cds. Verbatim has always worked for me.

As suggested above media is the most problematical cause. Try Verbatin discs and let's know how you go.
