• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hello. Does anyone know how to set up my interface so I can use it with the webcam on iMovie? I clicked on the mic icon and my interface appears there, but that's only for voice overs apparently. When I click on the camera icon and record something, the sound comes from the internal mic. Anyone know how to do this correctly? :\

I want the sound to come from my external mic which is connected to the interface. The interface is connected to the computer.

Hmm, I can't seem to find it either. Would be kind of silly not to have that feature I think. Do you have Quicktime Pro? There's an option in preferences that allows you to choose the audio input.

No I don't have it but I guess I'll get it. Maybe I can record the audio with garageband at the same time? That might be a pain though and I have a feeling things won't be synched or there will be lag.

But yeah, it's very silly of Apple to not include that.
