What to buy

I am wanting to buy a nice Mac that is fast and new. My budget is about $1300 or $1400 USD. Does anyone know of a good deal on one? I don't care if it is a notebook or desktop as long as it is a flat screen and its screen is at least 17". I would like the Memory to be 2GB and the Hard drive to be at least 300 some GB. If the memory or harddrive specs are too much I just want the computer and I'll find a way to upgrade them . Thanks in advance and God bless.

Almost everyone I know has gotten their Macs refurb, including me, and I have never seen a problem with them.
