I live in Las Vegas, the city of lights. There are big billboards up and down the strip all lit up, well recently one of the biggest casinos had a windows error and I thought the mac fans around the world would enjoy it. I posted it to my blog. www.brianstucki.com. Does anyone else have pictures like this to add to the collection?

Hehehe!

I remember at the Virgin Atlantic check-in desk, a few of the screens said "It is now safe to switch off your computer"

No one specified the OSes we could talk about, so...

I was at Apple camp over the summer. The Apple Store guy launched Garage Band, and it kernel panicked as he said "This is what we will be doing today." I bursted into laughter as the zealots around me looked like they wanted to kill me.

Once, I was walking by the Apple Store and I noticed that one of the PowerBooks on display had an error on it. People who walked by were pointing an laughing, so I joined in.

When I got my PowerBook back from Apple, the genius said "Here you go, its fixed this time..." and I got a kernel panic when it was booting up. I will never forget the look on the ladies face next to me who was also picking up her computer from repair.

There was a little kid who was playing on one of the eMacs that they have in the Apple Store. I was looking at the software when he bursted into tears. Since I have a soft side (its true) I went to go see what was wrong. The game had crashed as the little kid screamed "Mommy it was an accident!"

One of the Apple Store guys was explaining OS X to someone interested in purchasing their first Mac. Since I'm nosy, I listened. When he was explaining UNIX and how the OS never crashes, and then moved to how easy the interface is. She launched Photoshop on the G5 and the system locked up (as in the clocked stopped, and the mouse froze, not a kernel panic.) The lady said "It doesn't crash? Why isn't the mouse moving?" She stomped out of the store in a rage because the guy had just lied to her.

wow, I bet you get struck by lightning twice a week with your strange luck. I sell and work with Apple computers constantly and have never seen those problems.

Isn't the question though, between your post and your profile (Airport extreme, that sucks. or whatever it is) why don't you just get rid of your Powerbook and enter the world of windows again? Troll much?

i don't think it's because they were all zealots...i think they looked at you like that because laughing out loud at a speaker when something goes wrong is just plain rude in any situation. grow up.

StukDog. I like your music but on the song the Dream's on me you might look at balancing the guitars since you have both in the left speaker. Try putting rythm in both or slightly leaning towards the right. Other than that great job.

Hey thanks man, that was nice of you to offer. I have thought of that since I recorded it. It was the first one that I have ever done. When I was finished I exported it as an MP3 and erased teh garageband tracks. Ever since then I have been picking at things that I should have done different. Oh well, you live and you learn. Thanks for the tip though. Any real artist can take opinions of their music to make it better. I totally just write and record for fun.

Don't you dare tell me to grow up, zealot. You would crack up if you saw a PC BSOD if something went wrong.

I'm sure that you have downloaded the Windows 98 demo, and you watch it once in a while for a good laugh.

I would, trust me, I would. But I don't have the funds to do, well, anything right now.

Because you can't get rid of spyware! And you can't use Firefox! It's just way too **** difficult.

"He launched GarageBand" Hmm, maybe I was learning how to make music in GarageBand? Ever think of that? Good, ignore me, I don't give a ****, zealot.

I have never owned a PC. I use them in my daily life, and not once has one let me down.

Anything else?

I don't have any photos, but I'm continually amazed and disheartened by how often the Dells at my office (running either XP or 2000) crash. For many people, Windows crashing is just frustrating and an annoyance, but our machines are used for equities trading, and when one crashes there are literally thousands of dollars that can be lost.

Sheesh (Yo Murlyn -I saw that, forgot, recalled the next day too late) People, it's very simple. Mac problems are rare and easy to fix, windows in present form is doomed by its exposed indefensible registry core (our root!) Zero: those pcs you use are under constant fear care :alien:
