How much RAM is in your Mac?

Just wondering how much RAM people have loaded their Mac's with.
So, how much or how little ram do you have?
Lets see who has the most (or little) RAM in the M-F community.


I have 896mb in my PowerMac.

Currently 2Gb in my macbook - but looking to buy a new macbook to be able to use 4Gb.

4GB in my MacBook Lightening fast.

iMac G5 - 1.5 GB
iBook G4 - 1 GB
Intel Mac Mini - 1 GB
Mac Mini G4 - 1 GB
Power Mac G4 DA 1.8Ghz - 1 GB

i have the maximum allowed in all my macs

I have 2Gb. It's enough for me. I'm just a recreational computer user: net, uploading some pics, some word processing, Excel.

4GB in my MBP

Original MacBook 2GB (max)
Aluminum iMac 3GB (not sure if it's really worth it for me to go to 4GB)

3GB in iMac
4GB in MBP

1 GB in my iMac. Gonna get a 2GB when I have the money so that it'll be 3GB. Then when I have even more money, I'll change the 1GB to a 2GB, so that it'll be 2 x 2GB.

2 GB is the max my MacBook or I would have more.

I remember having 20 meg in my Apple LC475 in the mid nineties - you would have been considered crazy to have 1 gig back then (even if you had enough ram slots it would have set you back 37,000 dollars in 1994 money)

4 in iMac

2G in my MacBook. It can hold 4G, but I'm not doing anything on that machine to hit limits.

2GB in both my iMacs. Seems to be enough for now.

will be upgrading to 2GB at some point, but haven't had a huge need to yet.

LOL... yes, I remember back in the days, (when I had a Commodore 64), when "computer and IT professionals" were telling everyone that they would never see a reason for users to have more than 64 kbps. When Commodore came out with the 128, they about flipped!

I have 2GB in my iMac. I don't do heavy graphic work or number crunching, or have more than two or three windows open at a time, so it works great.

4GB in my MB - perfect for Fusion

I have 2gb in my MBP, It's in Indianapolis right now....can't wait tell the FedEx man brings it to me!! Not sure if I should upgrade to 4gb...
