Making Tabs in Logic Express 8 score editor

Hi
I would just like to know, before purchasing, if it's possible to make guitar tabs by just using your keyboard and mouse? So not by using MIDI but just by typing the numbers etc.
So it would look like this for example:

Umm, you can make an arrangement of notes, or do some scoring.. for example:
