i'd have to go back & check. the building itself doesn't look to be very old but i could be mistaken.
i'll see if i can turn up any info on the place but i do think its worth another visit :)

Really perfect. That sky lent its self to a great mood, and you captured it really well.

And don't knock the LX 3... those are some really capable cameras. A DSLR can't help with composition and imagination. Some of my best shots have been taken with my silly little Canon S3IS.

yeah i guess the best camera you can ever have is the one thats with you at the time :)

i've been making an effort to have a camera with me at all times just in case i do see something worth shooting as somethings better than nothing ;D
the LX3 can get some great images but like any small sensored camera you only get good results if the light is right. throw in any kind of darkness or deep shadows & its hello noise!
i was lucky it was so bright that day & i managed to keep detail in the shadows, i just ducked behind trees to keep the lens from flaring ;D

Totally, I've had an LX3 and it's a great little camera for sure. I loved carrying mine around. I did kind of need the SLR more though so I had to sell mine. If I needed a backup carry around camera, I'd definitely get another LX3 or even an LX5. Great stuff.

I think this forum doesn't play well with certain hosting sites. I couldn't get linked images from Flickr to show here - so I created a Photobucket site just for posting images to the forum.

It would be kind of ironic for the Macforums to not play well with MobilMe. :p

Interesting! I had set my gallery access up to allow open viewing. Obviously I'm not doing something right.
Maybe I need to set up a Photobucket account afterall.

I was just trying to fulfill my promise to share a picture from my new (refurb lens) and I was finally getting around to actually doing it.

Unless the url ends with am image file, the image probably won't be embedded within the forum. In addition, you'll also need to add image tags.

SuperMoon ?? Nice :)
I use an App called Skitch. They have just upgraded it does crosshair or full screen shots. Sends it straight to the Skitch Account where i get the direct link for the picture. All in one App IMO

The fun thing about the picture is that it would probably have looked the same had you taken it in color and not B&W. :D
