Never a problem like this with my series 0 (which I had until the watch face came separated this past summer). Bought a Series 4 on August 31 and it's been working great until the other night when I sent to connect it to its charger (the one that came with it). I didn't hear the usual charging chime nor see the large green lightning bolt confirming charging had started. I took it off and put it back on the charger, rotated it a bit, and then I got the chime and large green bolt. Next morning I put my watch on and get a haptic tap alerting me that I'm under 10% power! Watch was warm like it normally is after charging. I put it back on the charger and get nothing. Tried a different USB AC adapter (both Apple OEM) and also the charging cable that came with my Series 0. No joy. Tried different outlets too and also direct USB charging through a USB BUS. I turned the watch off in the midst of trying different things, and now it won't turn on. Read online where people were recommending holding the crown and side button in to force restart, but no joy on that either (probably not enough power). All that happens now is the time will display in the top right and a red bolt in the top left. Sometimes the red bolt will turn green when I connect it to the charger, but then it just turns red again after a few seconds. I've left it on the charger for hours at a time, but it never will restart. Just the same results.
Any ideas or is it time to head to the Apple Store? My guess would be a faulty battery.
