I am trying to change the voice on my Watch5 to the female one, for use when it tells me the time.

I have downloaded the correct voice onto the iPhone but cannot find any way to pass that setting to the watch.

Any help please?

It seems that Siri is now female but she doesn’t speak the time. She leaves that task to a man :)

Well, on my iPhone I selected the female voice in Settings/Siri&Search/Siri Voice. My watch followed. So now I have the British (female) Siri speaking on both. And she does the time, too, except for Mickey and Minnie, which is as it should be.

I have that as well since I reinstalled the watch onto my new iPhone

Strange update. Siri keeps reverting from female British to male British.

I changed it again yesterday and today it has changed back again.

Watch version 5 with latest version of WatchOS (not the beta)

About all I can think is that Sir I doesn't want to be Dame I. ;)

Seriously (oh, how hard it was to spell that normally), I have British Female and it has been that way ever since I changed it on my iPhone. Settings/Siri&Search/Siri Voice. I presume you know that already because you said you had changed it.

Yes, that was how I set it in the first place and how I changed it. Odd that it has gone back to male at least twice. It seems I have a non-PC Siri
