I’m off on my hols at the end of September and was wondering how will my AW4 fare up?
We’re off to Greece and I live in the UK ...
Things that I’m worried about:

Heat
Sand
Water
Creams

To name a few ... is my AW4 robust enough for my holiday?

Looking forward to your replies

hi there,

yes your Apple Watch should be able to cope with all sorts of things especially water as they are water resistant,

as for cream well it will wipe off or wash off.

ive had no issues with it when I've been to Egypt

enjoy your holidays

The Series 4 is water proof (not just resistant) and will be fine with pool/lake water at swimming depths. If you intend to go deeper or into salt water, you should take your watch off. Lotions and other things shouldn't be in contact for too long and should be washed off. From a heat perspective, prolonged exposure is likely going to get you a thermal warning, but I haven't seen/read too much about this.

Sand is going to be a real pain if you don't have a case around your Apple Watch since sand will be able to get in through the speaker holes and can't be expelled the same way you expel water.

Generally, you'll be fine.
