That will work fine if you have a landline! Most folks get rid of their landline when switching over to cell phone usage. And why pay the phone company for something that's not going to be used?

I kept my landline and use that number when making purchases at retailers, ordering something on line or just want to keep my iPhone private. Keeps me from getting spam and unsolicited calls.
