AppleInsider reports:

In a minor coup against Microsoft' claims of better value for money in Windows notebooks, Apple has earned the crown in Consumer Reports' latest computer study for its current generation of MacBooks -- as well as in tech support and, very nearly, desktops.

Also from the above article:

Apple couldn't quite claim the top spot in desktops but did manage second place in both of the two categories it competed in: among standard desktops, the Mac Mini's 59 was two points behind the HP Pavillion Slimline's 61, while the 20-inch iMac's 70 was enough to earn a runner-up position behind the Dell XPS One 24.

What are these people smoking. Really they think the mini and the imac are not as good as the XPS and the HP. I can see where they are coming from is saying that but I strongly disagree.

Apart from all the tech specs, on the cool wall, the Macs would be sub zero, only just though and the HP and the XPS would be both uncool.

Anyways this just proves that MS need to advertise "windows works on Macs too". And flog themselves to the switchers and dual/triple booters.

Too many...
Go apple! their computers rock! However, I think its a joke with the slimline and xps one when they compare it to the imac and mini. They use a lot of old technology where as the apple products use new technology. Who want slow ddr2 when you can get way faster ddr3 and etc...?? but whatever...i got a uni MBP:)
