I just bought a 16" MacBook Pro with 1TB SSD, but after thinking on it a little bit more I know that I will require more storage soon, so the question is... will there ever exist the chance to upgrade that storage considering that (AFAIK) the SSD is soldered?.

Thank you.

Welcome to our forums.

Congratulations on your purchase. As for upgrading the storage, it's unlikely that you will be to remove or upgrade the SSD to a larger capacity internally. However, since the machine has TB 3 ports, you can attach an external SSD which will give you additional storage and a decent transfer speed.
