Becoming fed up with Roxio. Whenever I go to use my version of Toast or Express all it wants to do is to take me to their web site and spend more bucks on latest software updates.

Burn is the go.

Never did like Roxio. I used their Windows version way back when I was a Windows Fan Boy, and was not impressed with it and the price they charged. Nowadays, with fewer and fewer folks burning disks or even needing a burner, it won't be long before they stop developing Toast.

The last version of Toast that I used that worked properly for my use was version 6.x I believe it was. (Not a misprint!!!)

BTW: Wasn't Toast recently taken over by Corel I believe??? At least it shouldn't be any worse than it got to with Roxio!!

I can't imagine what I had to go through to successfully log in to forum. My username and password are always displayed wrong.

I've had terrible problems the last few days after the site instructed me to change my password - which I believe we have to now every six months or so. It insisted on using my email as username, wouldn't accept temp passwords. Finally back in but still won't allow me to change the tep password to something memorable. Think site started early on the eggnog!

Sue, here is the link to my solution, https://www.mac-forums.com/news-and-community-announcements/348296-website-improvements-upgrades-2.html, down at post #25. I had to go into Safari > Preferences > Passwords, and edit the information saved. I still have both saved entries, one with my member name and the other with my email address. You can do the same with whichever browser you are using.

I just deleted the entry with my email address.

Maybe it just forgot to add the eggmog!!!

I received the PW request last week and it's working well with Chrome with Mavericks that I have been using lately. I haven't changed anything with Safari (v. 9.13) but may try changing my PW back to my preferred one for this site in a few days. I prefer a bit more consistency and standardization for my PW naming method.

Anyway, just to say the login stuff seems to be working properly for me.
