Trackpad keeps making Highlights, Menu list etc
I have problems lately with TrackPad, Then I tried to scroll down like as soon as I touch Trackpad I get pop up of Menu and if I. move the cursor it highlights, touch pad it drags the picture across the screen and makes it a mess ?? I had to hit esc but doesn't always work so I had to restart. works good but wont last. Think TrackPad going bad? I did SMC and MVRAM... doesn't fix it
    Thanks in Advance

Could it be that your battery is swelling? It's just under the trackpad and can push upon it from underneath, so maybe as soon as you touch it, it sees that as a "click" instead of a touch.

Try this: Get a ruler or straightedge and stand it on its side directly above the trackpad. It should touch the MBP all the way across. If the battery is causing the case to bow because of swelling, the ruler won't touch at the ends and the curve will be obvious.

Will test it with ruler when it happens, if it does, what could be done to fix it ? Put in newer battery in ?

You don't need to wait for it to be happening to check it. A swelling battery will not swell and shrink with use, it just swells and stays that way. The swelling is a symptom of the chemistry in the battery going bad and yes, the fix is to replace it. A swelling battery is also a fire hazard, so it's important to replace it and dispose of it properly. I don't know if the battery in your MBP is glued in, but if it is, you should probably get the battery replaced by an authorized Apple repair facility. If you want to see what's involved, check at ifixit.com

I had the SAME EXACT issues with my 13" Macbook Pro, and as also mentioned above, it was caused by the battery starting to swell ever so slightly. Get this issue fixed before it damages the trackpad chassis like it did on mine!!! The damage to the trackpad caused it not to click anymore, even after removing the battery. I "fixed" my trackpad myself, but it's not as "clicky" as it was before.

Make an appointment at an Apple store with the genius bar, they can open the case and visually inspect for any swelling and if it's swollen, give you an estimate to repair. I suspect you are not covered by AppleCare any more, if it's the 2013 in your profile. If it's not the battery, they can also test the whole unit for you and may be able to identify what is causing it.

EDIT: Nice rule, by the way. Haven't seen a wooden yardstick in a long time.
