I have a new 2018 MacBook Pro 15" screen and need to connect it to 2 external monitors. Both monitors are the same. ASUS VE278Q Full HD 1920x1080. They have a DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI ,VGA ports.

What do I need a dock and or cables to connect them to the MacBook Pro?

Thanks

If I read the specs on that model correctly you have four Thunderbolt ports. If so the cheapest method would be to use two Thundebolt to HDMI connectors such as these (one for eachmonitor). If you prefer DVI connections there are Thundebolt adapters as well. zif you don't want to give up two ports for this project there are some devices that work through USB to attach two monitors but I haven't checked whether they work with USB C.

Too many...
Your 2018 MacBook Pro has 4 USB-C(Thunderbolt 3) connections. They have the ability to natively output full definition via DisplayLink once connected. To do so, you need two USB-C to HDMI cables or dongles.
This is a cable that you need: USB-C to HDMI
Or the dongle: USB-C to HDMI Dongle
I prefer dongles because you can swap them out at the adapter if you need the HDMI cable for another device.

Just be careful to research reviews and specs because there's a lot of technical specifications that easily cause issues.

Another route to take is to use a dock, but I've been having issues with mine running off DisplayPort with the latest OSX update, so I can't really recommend that right now.
