I can connect to many websites, but my browser also freezes on some and won't load some pages as well. Other devices in the same home/network are browsing fine. This issue occurs whether I'm using safari, firefox, or chrome. Safari seems to be the most stable but many sites will still freeze the entire browser. This happens regardless of the number of tabs opened. I have to close the tab that freezes or sometimes force quit the app and begin again.

Troubleshooting steps so far:
Removed firefox and chrome, then downloaded them again (no fix)
Erased hard drive using recovery mode
Reloaded OS (no fix)
Updated OS (no fix)
Updated flash (no fix)
Reboot in safe mode (no fix)
Reset PRAM (no fix)
Reset SMC (no fix)

Open Activity Monitor along with the browser and when the browser freezes, see what Activity Monitor reports and if it says the browser is Not Responding or something else. See if the CPU is spiking or Memory is spiking or what not.

Welcome to our forums.

Your problem is indicitive of a failing graphics processor. The 17" 2010 model MacBook Pro was plagued with failing GPUs, so much so that Apple had a free repair going for them for some time. I believe that free repair period has expired and as far as I'm aware the only fix is replacing the logic board. It may be possible to find someone who is expert on doing micro soldering that can repair your MacBook Pro. Look around.
