I bought my 13" MBP back in December 2015.

Around 2 years later I noticed small areas of the screen were going hazy. This then started to affect the screen as a whole - it looked dreadful. The screen was effectively delaminating. After contacting Apple, they replaced my screen with a new one FOC despite its age. The normal cost of this would have been £329 (UK).

The man at the Apple shop told me that Apple have extended their warranty to 4 years from purchase to cover this specific problem.

So, hats off to Apple and a heads up to anyone else experiencing this problem.

Great, but so they should I would think. And I wonder whose display panels they were using???

Certainly not a common problem in the portable computer world it seems, or not that I've read about the last few years.
