Hi,

IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE PROBLEM IN VIDEO ==>

I have a macbook retina (Mid 2015) 15" that does not turn on the normal way it stats and shutdown without any sign in the screen (watch the video please),
if i want to turn it on i need to hold the power button for like 7 seconds and even if it did start with this method it becomes so SLOW like a core 2 duo PC soooo slow

i know it's a kernel problem (or hardware but i don't know where exactly) if i did run the Diagnostic it tells me it's WORKING GOOD (no errors/problems found)
and after i click shutdown in the diagnostic page i can run it normally with 1 click BUT it shutdown randomly during my usage..
and then it will not turn on normal again (i need 7 sec power button hold) but if i did power it with 7 seconds click it stays slow and never shutdown randomly.

i am using the External HDD to see if the power goes on or not and it's not the cause of problem because even i remove it it stays the same thing.
if i start in safe mode it stays so slooooooooow sometime it couldn't show the menu bar in safe mode.

*PS: i tried the SMC/NVRam..etc reset but no success because it's a kernel or hardware problem i just need to now where exactly if it's a hardware (i don't want to buy a new logic board)
*PPS: i tried to change the keyboard but the problem stay the same.

Check the video that will show you the problem exactly
https://youtu.be/GzXWTxtBm8Q

Please if you have anything in your mind share it so i can try it.
& if you need any log information just let me know and i will provide it.

Thanks.

If I understand correctly - it is booting and running very slow regardless if it boots from the external or internal drive.

How full is the internal SSD? What are the full specs on your MB Pro - memory, etc?

If the above is correct, have you tried creating a new account and booting to it to see if anything changes?

Also try downloading and running Onyx to clean your mac and then run Malwarebytes to clean out any potential malware (see links below).

Post back with any information. This will help determine possible next steps.

Thank you Lisa for your reply,

for the internal SSD it's almost empty only the system files + 4 or 5 programs (photoshop/illustrator..etc)

for the specs it's 2.5 Gb / 16 Gb / 500 Gb SSD

and the problem stay the same even when i create new account .. because the problem is not related to the account i face the problem at boot before logging or anything please take a look in the video.

Thank you again.

I realize the main problem is with the startup when you push the button. The reason for the new account was to test the speed of the MBP and see if random shutdown stopped or continued. The video showed you booting off an external drive which will always cause a mac to run super slow due to external port speed.

Are there any apple stores close so you could take it in for diagnostics? They have a much more thorough set of test and it is a free service. If you have apple care I would definitely call apple. I agree it sounds like a hardware problem and I suspect it has to do with either the logic board or SSD - neither are cheap repairs.

Not sure what else I can tell you.

If it is a Kernel Panic attack, go to Console in Utilities, copy and paste the report here, please.

Just from looking at it, it mentions a Bluetooth Audio device issue, do you have anything connected by Bluetooth? Maybe disconnect them and test again?
