File upload location change?

When I am listing things on eBay, the "file upload" location by default is "documents". How and where can I change this so that it's my photos? Obviously I don't need to upload documents, and constantly changing to the correct file location is a bunch of additional keystrokes/mouse movements that just waste my time. Is this possible to change? Oh, I'm on a MBP laptop if that matters, using Yosemite (with the frequent spinning beach ball).

Try this ...
Open Finder ... then go into preferences - General - New finder windows show .... and select another folder.

Maybe this will help you avoid keystrokes.
Be mindful that this change is system wide across all applications that open finder windows.

Cheers ... McBie

Shoot! Thought that might be a good fix - but it still defaults to Documents. Do I have to restart the computer to make that work? I didn't see a "save" button when I made the setting change...

Change your downloads default from Documents to Photos and that will also change the upload default. However, that can be a problem when downloading files because they'll wind up in Photos.

How utterly strange! I did as you said McBie - but it didn't work. Shut the lid on the mac for a bit while I did some other stuff, then when I came back, it worked!! Thanks!

Thank you both for the time and assistance. I never needed Chscag's suggestion, but I'm sure it would have worked also. Again, I appreciate the help!
