Switching from iMac to Macbook

I own a 21.5 inch iMac that I absolutely love, but I miss having a laptop. I start school in August so it would be easier to have a laptop to take with me, plus I find myself sick a lot these days, so a laptop seems easier. I do transcribing work on the side and I love the iMac for it because of the wonderful speakers. Does the Macbook have good speakers on it? I need to be able to hear the voices on the messages for transcribing, and my moms Dell inspiron doesn't do the job.

I can't afford a Macbook Pro or id get one, so I'm getting a new white Macbook. Are they good computers? I'm so sad to let my iMac go.

Does the Macbook have good speakers on it? I need to be able to hear the voices on the messages for transcribing, and my moms Dell inspiron doesn't do the job.

Laptop computers are generally not known for their sound quality. Good speakers or not (certainly a subjective answer)...you can always use a set of headphones or ear-buds.
