I own a 21.5 inch iMac that I absolutely love, but I miss having a laptop. I start school in August so it would be easier to have a laptop to take with me, plus I find myself sick a lot these days, so a laptop seems easier. I do transcribing work on the side and I love the iMac for it because of the wonderful speakers. Does the Macbook have good speakers on it? I need to be able to hear the voices on the messages for transcribing, and my moms Dell inspiron doesn't do the job.

I can't afford a Macbook Pro or id get one, so I'm getting a new white Macbook. Are they good computers? I'm so sad to let my iMac go.:(

Laptop computers are generally not known for their sound quality. Good speakers or not (certainly a subjective answer)...you can always use a set of headphones or ear-buds.:)
