Need Help Choosing Ram

Hello,

I just got a new MacBook Pro 13.3" 2.26ghz. I want to put two 2gb ram chips in it for a total of 4gb. My problem is choosing a brand. I am currently looking at: gskill, iram, samsung, kingston, and micron. Any info on this?

Also my MBP says it has 1067mhz ddr3 ram in it now. Is there a noticeable difference between 1066mhz and 1067mhz? What about ddr2 and ddr3?

I recommend going here and all your questions will be answered . I have been using Crucial for more then 6 years ( 10 or so systems ) all with never a problem. After visiting their site and running sys scanner check newegg for the best price.

Crucial is a great option, as mentioned above.

DDR3 is faster than DDR2, it is a noticeable difference unlike 1066-1067.

May want to look into buying a bigger, faster hard drive. I would personally buy a Seagate 500 GB 7200 RPM hard drive. Some people have different preferences, but I've had WD fail me two times.

I have already installed a 500gb 5400rpm wd hard drive and now its time for ram.
