Upgraded Ram today, pb seems slower...

I upgraded the ram in my PB G4 1.33 12" from 768mb to 1.25 GB today.

I wasnt expecting a speed increase at all, unless multitasking. But, my computer actually seems slower now. It takes longer to open and close programs, and longer to reboot.. the computer recognizes the ram as being installed, and it is the correct speed

any ideas?

Did you use a name brand memory? or did you buy a no name brand?

what does the pb tell you on the amount of memory?, also try to reset the memory it helped on mine, there is a big thread on this issue at apple support forums and seems to be something that can be easy to fix in most cases.
good luck
