Um... You can't do that...
Your monitor is made to show a certain resolution. You can switch to a lower rez but you can't go higher.

yer thats what i thort you can force a better rez on some monitors as ati make a tool to do it on windows but it brakes your monitor most times so i will just leave it such a shame how low the rez is on the the 15" pros

1440 by 900 isn't that bad. >_>" You could always hook up to a monitor if you want better.

Yea. The hardware is not physically capable of providing a better rez than 1440x900...
