Sager is gaining alot of popularity and their new lappy looks amazing. Besides that fact that its performance is better it also has a better value...hopefully this will bring the Powerbook prices down when it comes out http://pctorque.com/8890.php

Ide say mac is still on top. They have thick laptop which could be classified as a small desktop. It has a P4 intel, all apple would have to do is cram 1.4 Ghz into its powerbook and it would dominate it. Or even a G5 into it, **** at how thick that sager laptop is you could easily cool a g5 chip!
I say, its nothing special. It wont go anywhere.

First, who needs a hardware raid in a laptop... thats insane... second, performance is irrelevant, a P4 is a different chip, and does things wrong which wastes a lot of clock cycles. A G4 with altivec does things right, with higher speed busses and doesn't waste nearly as many clock cycles. Value doesn't mean anything either, as people who buy powerbooks buy them for what they are good at, lightweight, less than an inch thick, dvd burning capability, fast processors, quality components and an amazing operating system, not because they are cheap. PC Laptops have a long way to go before they can be a threat for mac laptops. Show me a P4 that doesn't waste 50% of its clock cycles waiting for information from a bus, and ill be convinced that PCs are starting to catch up.
