I own a retrocomputers collection and actually I use a video converter to send all the video signals in VGA format to a TFT PC monitor.

As I also have an old Macintosh LCII with a M1212 Macintosh Color Display I wonder if is possible to connect an VGA signal directly to the M1212 monitor using some pins adapter. I have found different video adapters for Mac but not an specific "VGA to Macintosh Color Display adapter".

Is it possible to connect an VGA signal to the M1212 monitor?

Thank you!

The M1212 trinitron 14" display is a fixed frequency monitor, even with an adapter converting its D connector to VGA it will not sync up to the VGA standard.
