Apple will not ship products to the Northern Mariana Islands (Saipan, Tinian and Rota), a US Territory where I used to live and where my grandchildren live now.
I will be visiting them over the US Thanksgiving holiday. I'm planning to take a Mac mini with me and order the peripherals (mouse, keyboard, display, backup drive) from Amazon or some other vendor that will ship to them.
Although money is not a huge problem, I don't want to spend more than necessary. At the moment I plan to get the low end Mini with a 256GB internal drive, 8GB RAM and a 21" 1080p monitor. (I happen to have a 2009 Mini upgraded to 8GB RAM. a 256GB SSD with a 21" 1080p monitor. My wife uses it in her law practice and it seems to be just fine.)
Any thoughts on whether or not that will be an adequate machine for three boys aged 6 through 13?
