Imac 21" broken

Hi, I have a 21" Imac from 2011 and last month the screen started blinking and at the end, it didn't turn on at all. I took to repair shop and the guy told me it was something called oscillators, broken. I would like to know if somebody else had the same problem and if it was possible to repair.
Thank U for the help!!! I really miss my Imac.

2017 15" MBP, 16gig ram, 1TB SSD, OS 10.15
Since you said your iMac won't turn on at all...first thing I would look into is replacing the iMac's power supply.
