No, its legit. Sealed in the box and still sealed in its shipping box. I even confirmed the serial number and it was never registered . I opened both and it was brand new. It was from a trust or something.

It's not only a great price, it's a super price. That machine sells for way more brand new with a 2 TB Fusion drive. You were very lucky to come across something like that. Don't forget to check to see if it's eligible for Apple Care which will depend on the date when it was originally purchased.
