I have an older mini (2006-2007) that i've upgraded the RAM to 2GB from 1GB and the HD from 60GB to 160GB.
It is now running extremely slow. It took more than 5 hours to install the OS.
It also takes between 5-10 minutes to boot.

Any constructive help is greatly appreciated!

I'd start by putting the old RAM back in and see if it boots normally. If not, then perhaps the HD is defective? Can't imagine what else it could be.

As Jonathan stated above, the HD could be goofy, and try his other suggestion with the ram as well.

What kind of drive did you use for an upgrade??
