Looking at getting a used mac for my wife. What are the primary differences between 2013-late 2015 models? Trying to stay just under 1K if I can. I have heard the late 2013 are almost as fast as the newest models? Which older model from 2013 up is a good match for price/performance? Which older ones still keep up with today somewhat? Mostly light graphic art stuff and maybe some light gaming.
Thx in advance.

What Mac are you even considering for your wife or are you going to keep us guessing? Mac Mini? iMac? MacBook Pro? MacBook? :)

Okay, thanks for getting back go us. The basic differences between the 2013 model and the 2015 model 27" iMac are primarily graphics and the 5K Retina display. The later model having better graphics and a much brighter and clearer display.

You can compare Mac models anytime by going to Mac Specs, Prices, Answers and Comparison: EveryMac.com, Est. 1996.
