I am on my 2nd iMac. I got the 'magic' bluetooth keyboard with the newer one, but I have been having one **** of a time typing correctly with that keyboard. My first was the older extended and wired keyboard. I thought that they just made everything much smaller with the newer one and that was my problem, but when I put the two keyboards side by side, I see the sizing is the same. I really like the size and ease of movement of the wireless 'magic' keyboard, but the constant deleting and retyping of words drives me crazy. The feel of the keys is different and for some reason, I find myself making many, many fewer typing errors when using the old keyboard. Is there an alternative out there that would allow me to get the best of both worlds on a keyboard?

Yes; I think so.

Amongst the many wired keyboards available (Check Amazon, for example), the make I've always found reliable, feels like the "old style" keys and is definitely for a Mac is Matias.

In particular, the "Matias Tactile Pro for Mac".

Now, this is a personal recommendation. I have absolutely no financial or other interest in the company.

Mine is the full-sized which I don't find cumbersome and, surprisingly, adjusted to very quickly. Thanks for asking.

+1 recommendation for any of the Matias keyboards. And they are excellent quality Canadian products!!!

If you possibly have wireless interference problems affecting things, I would definitely suggest using one of their wired models.
