We can answer that one real easy.....

The difference is about $3000.00. ;)

Quite frankly, if you're not into some sort of profession where you would need a powerhouse machine like an iMac Pro, I would say that a regular iMac will be just fine. You can look up the individual specs on the Apple site and decide for yourself.

Honestly if you need to ask, then you don't need the iMac Pro. Also, you COULD just as easily visit the Apple website and just compare it for yourself.

Why would you need a pro vs just a regular Imac?

On a more serious note (compared to my reply above). Don't know if you've compared the specs of a "regular iMac" and the iMac Pro...but if this were done you would see that there is quite a difference in performance.

Which then boils this question down to..."Why would anyone need a super-fast computer?". Hopefully the answer to that question needs no explanation.:)

There’s always someone, somewhere with money to burn who wants the fastest computer on the planet; even if they only view the odd YouTube video or send an email :D

Absolutely. There's always someone who just has to have the latest & greatest & quickest...but actually doesn't need it.;)

But then again...this could also be like the person who buys a Porsche, Lambourgini, Ferarri, etc....that can go 150+ mph (241kph)...and uses it to go grocery shopping!! lol
