Anyone tried taking their iMac in public or using it in public?

iMac is pretty bad *** even ones from like 8 years ago like mine (actually I think its like 2012 but you get my point) have a better picture quality, sharpness and resolution than most modern hdtvs. It is such a great product and investment. An iMac will literally last you a decade and you can use it for so many purposes. Plus the newer version than mine that dont come with a cd drive built in are even lighter and more portable. It is almost like a carry on tv with you and computer that you can take anywhere outside the coffee shop or bar like (although Id love to see that or do like a journalism article for 9to5mac using the iMac in starbucks and see if I get looks lol).

This is why users purchase tablets or portable computers. Your iMac will never be as portable as laptop computer or a tablet. Plus (of course)...you need to be able to plug it in to power it.

p.s. You mentioned in one of your other posts that you have a MacBook Air. Why not just take your MacBook Air to Starbuck's??
