What is this Mac worth?

I need advice! My adult son has flown the nest and I want to sell his computer. I have no idea what it is worth and am hoping one of you folks can help. It is an "Apple Mac Pro Xeon 64 bit workstation" Here are some photos including specs.

The specs of that machine are here. To determine the value of the machine, check out eBay or other places for this particular machine and see what others are selling it for.

Check on eBay and Craig's list to see what a similiar unit is selling for. A lot depends on where you live and if there is a good market for that powerful a machine.

Sorry...but no it's not.

The box & computer in the photo are not the same. The box is for a MUCH MUCH better computer. The computer (Powermac G4) is at least 15 years old (from 2003 or older)...can't tell you the exact model without more info.

Personally I wouldn't give more than $20-$25 for it. But as the other guys mentioned...check eBay...maybe you get a bit more (but shipping it will cost more then it's worth).

I'm wondering if the box that shows the Mac Pro is empty and his son took that with him when he left. And left behind the G4? Doesn't make sense that someone would leave a nice Mac Pro behind to sell.

Owned most of 'em over the years. And the one's I didn't own...I probably wanted to own.
