stuck CD

Hi, guys (and gals). I saw another post and it reminded me I've meant to ask ya'lls help on something.

My friend has an old imac (that she aquired from her sisters ex boyfriend), it's one of the original green colored imacs, but it has the insert disk slot instead of a tray. Basically, there's a disk (audio) that won't eject and doesn't come up on the screen (i also thing the fan or hd is hitting something, but that's another story for another time). Is there a way to have the computer eject something it doesn't think is there?
I COULD take it apart, but I'd prefer not to (warranty is long time gone and bringing it to a store is more hassle then what it's worth). So if anyone could help, she (and I) would be very greatful.

shut down the mac, while starting up, hold down the mouse and it should eject, if not, there may be a hardware problem.

There should be a tiny little hole on the front where you can put a thin piece of wire in to eject the CD.

See, I have that on my imac at home (but that's for the try one). I asked her about that and she said no...eh, thanks either way, MrBobbins.
