I recently bought 2 sticks of 1 Gb of RAM for my PowerMac G5.
But now when I use the computer, acpplications keep crashing and its generally much slower than before.
I checked the memory i put in and it seems thats not the problem.
Is there a certain order that it needs to be put in?
Ihave 4 sticks of 512Mb in before it.

thanks

Remember memory on a G5 must be installed in pairs. Did you put 1G in the top slots and 1Gin the lower slots. Also in the same position in the lower and upper slots.

As in:

512
512
1
xxxxx

512
512
1
xxxxx

Something along the line like that
