    AIFF is not Garage band format... it is simply an uncompressed audio format.

    What you need to do is convert the song to mp3. (Add it to iTunes and then convert it to mp3 from there - if you need help on doing this, consult iTunes' help menu)

    What do you mean by "with a console".

    This is a standard way to embed audio into a web page;
    <EMBED SRC="soundfile.aif" AUTOSTART=true LOOP=FALSE hidden=YES></EMBED>

    And I'd suggest you use mp3 files, as AIF files are very large. Do a web search for further details of this.

    I have a better tip.... do not post your music in the backgrounsd at all!

    Unless, of course, that you will be the only visitor to your own site!

    After, 5 secs of annoying BG music, visitors will take off faster then a wet watermelon seed going through a fat man's greasy fingers!

    I agree, annoying background music was big back in like 96, it went away quick and for good reason.

    you should be able to turn it off.. or ask it to play.... sometimes i want to go to a site to see the content, but not neccesarily listen to the music.. even if it is a bands site..

    put it in flash with a button to turn it off or quicktime..
