    Question image and graphic program
I am looking for an image and graphic program, to work along side of dreamweaver. I just recently changed to mac so my adobe programs don't work (pc). Don't have a lot of funds to repurchase for mac, will do a dreamweaver cloud, but still need a image program, thx in advance.

What features do you need, and how much are you looking to spend?

Here's a brief list of low-cost and even free graphics editors that are held in high regard. Their capabilities vary.

    Gimp (free)
    Seashore (free... based on Gimp)
    Pixelmator
    Acorn

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).

Pixelmator is gonna be the best of the bunch, IMO. It is as close to a PS replacement, and very affordable.

    How about Photoshop Elements.
Good choice if you are already familiar with Adobe products.
