    Books to learn HTML?
Hey guys I am 14 and trying to learn HTML and CSS. I went to sites like w3schools.com and picked up a book to learn CSS but still unexperienced. Any books you guys suggest that I get to learn HTML? Which is the best book to learn HTML and CSS?

I'm not sure about any HTML books, but I do recommend a book called CSS Mastery. It's got a green cover and can be found on Amazon.

I would learn HTML before you get into CSS. Don't try to do both at once, it might be a little overwhelming.

I agree with above, just learn html first as css is different.
Best way to learn is use an editor to create basic layouts. then open it in notepad and lookup html tags online and insert to see how it changes the page.

    Few basic tips

HTML isn't easy if you have never seen code before... just start basics like changing font size and colours and inserts images, then once toy mastered basics of that you should then try playing with tables... background images and border colours... then progress onto CSS.

Definitely get the hang of HTML first. Then, move on to CSS to add more style to your webpages.

Your local thrift store has tons of books on HTML super cheap like a dollar each. The last one I picked up is by Visual - Read less- Learn more HTML. Has a CD in the back.
