Questions for those who know more than I.
Alright, so I don't know all the answer, and now I have questions.
I would like to put a poll on my website (http://www.firestormcreation.com), how would I go about doing that?
I have GoLive and I have done most of my web design that way. I don't know much more than a HighSchool level of Web HTML and such... any help?

Download phpESP or one of the several available in the php scripts section of hotscripts.com and follow the instructions it gives you in the readme. You'll probably need to open your files in textedit or BBEdit to actually add the poll to one of your pages but most come with an install script.

I suggest you go with a text-file based script, not a database one, unless you know the basics of mySQL.

It's not too hard, you'll generally find that most will come with good readmes.
I'm in your forums, writing sentences in a grammatically acceptable manner.
