From what i have just read about this SSD is its used in conjunction WITH another HD being the one in your Mac or another SSD. The reason it is so small, is because its used as a Cached SSD, meaning, your Mac HD does all the work, and the SSD is used to save/cache certain data from what the Mac HD is processing. Have a read of this review in OverClockers and look at the system Requirements. It talks Windows ?? So with the Software on the SSD to Connect it to a HD is DataPlex or similar. I use the Aust Equivalent and i returned a broken SlimDrive for a Superdrive and i emailed them, and they put the money for the postage into my account, and sent me out a new one before the old one was there, because i sent it registered post, and gave them the tracking number. OWC work like this as well.
