I have an early 2008 white 2.1 GHz MacBook that I purchased in July 2008. I bought it for school and figured that the 1 GB of RAM that it came with at the time would suffice. As time has gone on, though, it has not and I have finally decided to upgrade the RAM. Anyways, on the recommendation of someone, I went to this site, and upgraded to 2 GB. As I go to put it in last night, I had some interesting issues. I would get the beep when the computer started and sometimes it would start up, but it would only show up as 1 GB of RAM and the computer would act funny. However, most of the time, the beeps were just going on at start up so finally I put in the old RAM. So as I go to take it back, does anyone have any recommendations on where else I can purchase RAM? What are the recommended places? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
