2013 MBP running El Capitan 10.11.5
When I open Safari it opens to "My Way Home Page - Google search" even though under preferences I have specified Yahoo as my home page.
It just suddenly appeared and I can't get rid of it.
Any suggestions please?

Hi

Have you downloaded any apps recently, say in a bundled offer?

I would download Malewarebytes Anti-Malware app from their website and run a scan in case you've picked some nonsense.

Worth checking Safari > Preferences > Extensions and make sure there is nothing there that shouldn't be.

Then reset your Home Page.

Please post back; because success or fail, it helps others and if fail, then we can think of other options for you.

Thanks IWT - I'll get back when I've tried the suggestion.

OK, Malware, all clear.
Under Safari - extensions - there was the page that annoys me so it has been "uninstalled"!
Now I'll have to do a few in's and out's for Safari and see if it's cleared the problem!
