If your SSD has failed...you can continue to try whatever you're trying a MILLION times...and it will not change anything!:( It's like having an automobile tyre (UK spelling);)...with a big hole in it. You can try a million times to inflate it...but you're going to still end up with a flat tyre because of the big hole. The most obvious answer is the SSD has failed in your computer...and you're just beating a dead horse continuing to troubleshoot further. If you're going to be a DIY home computer repairer...you've got to have known good parts to swap for potentially bad parts (the SSD in this case). YOU NEED A NEW SSD TO TEST WITH!!!:) FYI...you should be able to boot this computer from an external device: - external hard drive - USB thumb drive - external optical drive (with an OS install DVD) So set yourself up an external HD, bootable USB stick, or an external optical drive...and try to boot up the computer. If it boots successfully from an external device...then the internal SSD is bad. Also...booting from an external device can also allow you to examine & possibly repair the internal SSD. - Nick
