SOLVEDHad incorrect username.
I have a web host for which i use ftp to upload and download files. I have used this on windows for years and continue to do so. Now that i have a new macbook pro I wish to set up ftp on it also. I have tried 2 ways to connect to the remote server and mac keeps telling me that the login failed. I have checked and rechecked to see that the settings are the same as with windows. They are.
