Chscag, I evidently don't have enough disc space to update to 10.10.4. This is another of my issues. I can't get my mac clear enough. I trash loads of stuff and still its full. I did recreate a trash folder, but it doesn't act like the original one. That is, the messages are not at the top of the list with the draft, sent and vip folders. Which reminds me the draft folder went away also, until I sent a message to the folder and suddenly it was back. Thank you for your reply! McBie, Both Hide and Show deleted messages are greyed out. I created a new mailbox and called it Trash but when I "trash" an email it doesn't go into it automatically. The mailbox is located "on my mac" rather than at the top of the list of Mailboxes. Where are my deleted emails going? In my account it says "Move deleted messages to the trash mailbox" and "Permanently erased deleted messages when a month old" Thank you for your reply!
