Back again with another question folks.

I have been so busy trying to sort out the 'lovely' problem with Time Machine that I haven had time to realise that most of my Mac Mail and settings were lost when I did a complete clean install and now I am not at all sure how I can tarnsfer them from my old iMac running High Sierra? The new Mac is an iMac M1 24 running Monterey 12.1

I have had a search how to do it and am worried about how I can do it and still have a working machine ?

Help please...

I never keep any email on my devices. Everything gets stored on their servers. It's easier to get them from any device I use. I have emails in my hotmail back through 2000, and gmail from 2004.

I only need to set them up in whichever "Mail" app I use (macOS, iOS, winOS etc.).

I think you can open Mail and while there, enter TM and you will be in the TM email area. From there you just restore as usual.
