Hi,
How do I transfer a 150 mb file to the ipad? I'm not a fan of the cloud.

I want to put it in iBooks.

Thanks

Assuming your sig for the Mac (Monterey) and you are current on iPadOS, then attach the iPad to the Mac by USB cable and use Finder. The iPad should appear in Finder sidebar, and from there you can just follow the multiple screens of options.

Thanks MacInWin, worked perfectly. It mounted and after a bit of wrestling I transferred the PDFs. Just in time as it is some very old dictionaries that I need to study some really old books.
